Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and had all the facilities you need for a short break away, with an amazing view of the lake. Everything was clean, warm, bright, and well-designed. The location was perfect, right by the lake and within easy walking distance of all amenities. The dining experience was above par, especially the homemade Marmalade. However, some dishes were a bit tasteless. Overall, a great value for money experience.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room had a designated parking space at the back of the property and offered a good view of the lake. It was comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had plenty of handy amenities like an iron, hairdryer, and fan. The little extra touches with face wipes and tissues were a nice bonus. The location is perfect for exploring Bowness, with easy access to shops, bars, the lake, and local attractions. The dining experience was pleasant, especially with the smashing homemade jams and choice of sausages. However, the breakfast timing felt a bit rushed for a holiday stay. The service was top-notch, particularly the housekeeping. I would definitely recommend this hotel for both short and long trips.
The hotel is perfectly situated, close to Lake Windermere and with welcoming hosts. The rooms are impeccably clean and provide a comfortable stay, with lovely homemade jams. The breakfast is a delicious spread of locally-sourced produce, though slightly down the street for heavy baggage. Overall, a great location with friendly service and tasty dining options.
